Death (the script writers) got real lazy. Instead of manipulating different forces and circumstances by the 5th movie things "just break". Man making a 1 inch cut into top layer of concrete? Entire bridge self-destructs. Doctor steps out of room? Laser power supply sparks, increasing the power level, and then, again for no reason, the laser inexplicably activates itself. Final Destination is truly a milked franchise. ~ DamnHollywood
